Kakamega County Rolls Out Free Public Wi-Fi to Boost Digital Access and Jobs
Kakamega County is setting up free Wi-Fi stations in Lumakanda, Mumias West, and Lurambi to unlock digital opportunities for residents. Backed by Safaricom’s 5G trials, the project focuses on supporting youth with ICT centers, online job platforms, and aims to cover all sub counties with help from sponsors and donors.
